i would like to know the difference between an AERONAUTICAL ENGINEER and an AIRCRAFT MAINTENANCE ENGINEER

l have taken admission for AIRCRAFT MAINTENANCE ENGINEERING in UTKAL AEROSPACE and ENGINEERRING, BHUBANESHWAR for the 3 year LICENCE course & l would like to do AERONAUTICAL ENGINEERING simultaneously from the same institute. IS MY MOVE A SMART ONE?

Yes. Aeronautical engineering is involved with the design, fabrication, & development testing of new aircraft components. Aircraft maintenance engineering is involved with the maintenance & life of those components once they r actually in use. l think the knowledge of how the parts r designed & made will make u a better maintenance engineer. In addition, it will keep ur options open for possible future changes that u may want to make downstream. More education in ur chosen field is always a good idea. Aeronautical engineer design and calculate, and aircraft maintance engineer is another word for airplane maechanic

An areonautical engineer is a degreed engineer. An aviation maintenance engineer is an airplane mechanic.
