yes you can. you can also use cameras once you up in the air.

You can`t use any scanning or monitoring (of radio frequency) devices, however you can use your lap top. Just don`t expect to be able to connect to the internet though.

as long as the electronic is not connected to the ground, ie. by the internet or your phone you can use it. some cell phones have ''airplane mode'' so that you can still play the games and such, just no calls or texting.
