Other answerer got it. At least 16 to solo (without passengers) and at least 17 to fly with passengers. This is just for a private certificate though, if you want other privileges (commercial, etc.) the ages are higher. There is no maximum age.

If you are talking about the minimum age, you have to be at least 16 years of age to solo the aircraft and then you need to be at least 17 years of age to obtain your private pilot rating. And as far as the limit you can be any age you just need to pass your Third Class Medical.
