Hello there. l would like to open this question. What is the limited eyesight rate for flying an aircraft.
Eg: Shortsightedness about -5.00 to -5.50. What is the limited rate (-2.30, -3.70, etc) for flying an aircraft or they just looking at a person is eyes using the vision rate such as 6/6, 10/10 or etc during the medical exam/test.

Hi, This depends on your countries civil aviation authority. You could try their website or email them regarding the matter.

What country are you from? The rules change from one to another. l recommend looking up the civil aviation authority for the country that you live in.

The vision standards are
6/9 or better – Each eye separately
6/6 or better – Both eyes together (Binocular Visual Acuity)

N 5 – At 30 – 50 cms

N 14 – At 100 cms

Lens power is immaterial.
