That would be descrimination.

You are able to study aviation wether or not your an american or a foreigner. There is no rule/law in the FAA book that says that. You might, however, have a background screening, but thats common. It might be required that you be a U.S. citizen at the time of application though.


Answer is no, you should not have a problem being able to study aviation in United States.

No, you do not have to be an American citizen. There are background checks involved. See http://flightschoolcandidates.gov and click on FAQs for more information.
