Does he have a student ID or a passport? You need to call the airline and see what they require.

Everyone boarding a plane needs to have a picture ID. Does he have a school ID? Birth Certificate proves someone is born but does not prove that the person showing it IS that person. You need to get him some sort of picture ID.

Well l am not really sure if he would need an ID or not.
But just in case you might want to get him a state ID or temporary ID.

He should have some form of picture ID. Does he at least have a school ID with his picture & a name? l can not promise they will let him use that but it is better than nothing. Seriously if u did not get him a picture state I.D. u need to have a copy of his birth certificate handy all the time.

After this trip, u will want to consider getting him a state I.D., since he does not have his license yet. These r technically the only acceptable forms of identification other than his birth certificate.

go to the DMV and you can get a STATE ID it looks just like a drivers license and can be used just like it

Call the airline. l am pretty sure he does not need a photo ID. That requirement is for non-minors.
